About Me and the therapy i offer

At the heart of my work is Zen Shiatsu — a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses comfortable pressure, stretches, and mindful touch to support your body’s natural ability to heal. But every person is unique, so I often weave in other techniques to match your individual needs, including:

  • Shiatsu – Japanese bodywork that helps release tension and balance energy (Qi).
  • Sei-Ki – A beautiful practice of intuitive touch and deep listening.
  • Do-in – Simple self-massage, stretches, and breathing exercises to help you feel more at home in your body.
  • Qigong – Gentle movements and breathwork to cultivate vitality and calm.
  • Mindful Movement & Meditation – For building awareness and presence in daily life.
  • Clean Language – A gentle coaching tool using open questions to help you explore what matters most to you.

What I Can Support You With

Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, or simply want to feel more connected and in tune with yourself, I offer tailored sessions and workshops to help you with:

  • Managing your energy levels so you don’t feel constantly drained.
  • Stress & burnout recovery with practical tools to restore balance.
  • Building self-awareness so you can better understand your patterns and choices.
  • Improving your quality of connection — with yourself and others.

Workshops & Retreats

I also design and lead workshops and retreats on:

  • Holistic Wellbeing & Self-Care
  • Stress Management
  • Meta-skills Development (skills that make all your other skills better)
  • Cultivating Presence & Deep Listening

A Little More About Me

I originally trained in Psychology (MSc Hons), which gave me a solid understanding of how we think, feel, and behave. I also have a background in project management (I’m PRINCE2 certified), but my true calling is helping people find ease, balance, and self-connection through bodywork, movement, and awareness practices.

In my private practice as a Shiatsu practitioner and wellbeing coach, I’ve had the privilege of working with many clients navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and chronic pain. This experience has really shaped the way I work — creating a safe, empathetic space where people feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.

I’ve also had the chance to bring my skills into community and healthcare settings, which has been incredibly rewarding. In early 2020, I worked with Groundswell, offering hands-on care and stress management support to staff and volunteers working in a challenging community environment. Later, from September 2022 to June 2024, I worked at University College London Hospitals as an On-site Shiatsu Therapist and Stress Management Facilitator. Supporting both medical and administrative staff during such high-pressure times gave me a deep understanding of the unique stresses that healthcare professionals face — and how important it is to offer tailored support that really meets people where they are.

My training as both a Shiatsu practitioner and teacher has always put a strong focus on creating a listening, trauma-informed space. Whether I’m working with someone one-to-one, running a workshop, or supporting a team, I bring that same compassionate, client-centered approach — making sure people feel safe, seen, and empowered to explore what wellbeing means for them.

These experiences, combined with my holistic approach and my commitment to supporting whole-person wellbeing, have shaped the therapist and facilitator I am today — someone who believes that everyone deserves care, respect, and the chance to feel well in their own skin.
